On the General tab of the settings dialog you can select your language, set launch at login and power saving options, set whether the program has to be minimized to the system tray or not, control notifications and set whether the program should check for available updates at startup or not.
The system tray minimization option is useful to save space on the task bar. If the option is checked the program will add an icon to the system tray:
If you will minimize UltraDefrag then the program will disappear from the task bar. Don’t worry, just click on the system tray icon to restore the program. Also you can right click the icon to open its context menu from which you can pause and resume defragmentation:
