UltraDefrag 11 reassembles fragmented files on your disks. This makes your disks significantly faster. As a result the operating system, applications and games perform much better. You get much faster computer startup and shutdown, faster web browsing, higher FPS in gaming and much more responsive desktop applications.
Easy to use graphical interface
UltraDefrag 11 features an intuitive graphical interface. Now everything can be done with just a few clicks, without a single line of code!
Defragmentation of individual files and folders
If you would like to defragment individual files and folders rather than the entire disks you get covered! Just select the files and folders you would like to defragment in Windows Explorer, click the right mouse button and select Defragment with UltraDefrag to quickly defragment them all.
Defragmentation of NTFS metafiles and data streams, including the Master File Table (MFT)
NTFS metafiles and data streams are crucial components of the file system and their fragmentation slows down pretty much everything. Whenever you defragment and optimize your disks UltraDefrag 11 defragments all the metafiles and data streams to keep your file system running at peak performance!
Defragmentation of locked files
Sometimes Windows and applications lock files preventing their defragmentation. While some of the locked files do not affect system performance much, most of them do, especially the page, swap and hibernation files. For instance, a fragmented page file can significantly slow down pretty much everything and a fragmented hibernation file can significantly slow down the computer startup and shutdown. UltraDefrag 11 runs in a special mode when Windows boots to defragment all the locked files. Now you can defragment them all with just a few clicks!
Optimization of disks
In addition to regular defragmentation UltraDefrag 11 can fully optimize your disks. During the optimization all your files and folders will be moved to the fastest disk tracks and sorted out for the maximum performance. Additionally the free space will be defragmented to prevent fragmentation of files and folders in future.
Using UltraDefrag 11 you can set up automatic defragmentation of your disks in a couple of clicks to keep your disks always fully optimized. By default automatic defragmentation runs when the computer is idle. If you want it to run on a certain schedule instead you can easily set your schedule up with just a few clicks.
UltraDefrag 11 features an easy to use preferences dialog. Now everything can be configured with just a few clicks, there is no need to edit scripts anymore! Also, UltraDefrag 11 comes with sensible default settings, so, if you are not an experienced user, you can still get your disks very well optimized without any tweaking.
Automatic sleep, hibernation or shutdown after the job completion
You can easily set UltraDefrag 11 to put your computer to sleep, hibernate it or shut it down after the job completion. So, you can start defragmentation of your disks and leave the computer knowing it will be safely turned off when the job will be done.
Command line interface
UltraDefrag 11 includes a powerful command line interface which you can use to fully automate complex defragmentation tasks.
UltraDefrag 11 includes an easy to use portable edition which you can put to a USB stick and then use from there without installation.
Wide range of supported Windows versions
UltraDefrag 11 fully supports Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Server 2022, 2019, 2016, 2012 and 2008 R2, both 32-bit and 64-bit editions.
Reliable and safe operation
Thanks to comprehensive testing and use of standard Windows API UltraDefrag 11 is extremely reliable and completely safe to use. Under no circumstances it can damage your files during defragmentation.

|Excellent!||(4.5 out of 5)|
I tested it on my old laptop that took nearly 5 minutes to boot and login and start using… After an overnight optimization, I restarted my computer to test it out and boot up was nearly instantanious. I logged in, and everything popped up like, if you blinked, you missed it… No one should be without this software. Stellar job, UltraDefrag developers!
Excellent and reliable tool for many years and across many versions of Windows… I’ve used and beta tested hundreds of software products and this is one of those few products that filter past all other worthy tools and become permanent keepers. It does what it’s supposed to do, without making too much noise or wasting my time and it does it extremely well!
Yes the first time you run this program, it takes a long time but it is worth it… I have used many, many defrag programs and this one can make an old computer run faster than it was new. The boot time process really speeds up your computer starting up and shutting down. I have never had a problem with UltraDefrag and have never seen another program do a more thorough job.
